NAMUTECH Participates in Open Cloud Platform Pub 2024 to Expand South Korea’s Open Cloud Ecosystem Based on K-PaaS
On December 13th, the ‘Open Cloud Platform Pub 2024 with PlugFest’ event was held at Ferrum Tower in Euljiro, Seoul, hosted and organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the NIA.
This event served as a seminar to share the latest trends in cloud-native technology and unveil the new version of the Open Cloud Platform (K-PaaS), as well as various ecosystem cases. It was an important forum for stakeholders in the cloud ecosystem to come together to achieve the common goal of ensuring interoperability through public verification and promotion.
Various South Korean PaaS companies providing products compatible with K-PaaS participated to facilitate communication and contribute to the development and influence of South Korea’s cloud ecosystem.
NAMUTECH participated in the Open Cloud Platform Pub 2024 to expand South Korea’s open cloud ecosystem based on K-PaaS. They introduced ‘Cocktail Cloud,’ a cloud-native PaaS platform, and showcased their PaaS technology.
NAMUTECH is actively working to enhance the activation and value of cloud-native centered around PaaS platforms. This effort is part of their role as the chair company of the PaaS Support Subcommittee and the chairman of the Human Resources Subcommittee of the OPA (Open Cloud Platform Alliance). Their goal is to expand the size of South Korea’s PaaS market and to integrate and extend the ecosystem.
Cocktail Cloud, the first container-based cloud-native PaaS platform in South Korea, is an All-in-One platform based on Kubernetes for building and managing cloud-based services such as microservices, AI, and big data.
Cocktail Cloud is maximizing the strengths of cloud-based on a Microservices Architecture (MSA) in line with the emerging trend of ‘cloud-native’ transformation in cloud transition. It has proven its stability and reliability through GS certification and KISA cloud security certification, demonstrating high security.
Moreover, as a container and application All-in-One platform, it not only enables integrated management of multi and hybrid clusters but also provides and supports a DevOps platform, facilitating integrated monitoring of infrastructure and applications.
